The Fifty Most Powerful Tweets from the 2013 National Arts Marketing Project Conference

On November 8-11 in Portland, Oregon, a charged group of over 675 arts marketers came together for “Powered by Community,” one of the largest National Arts Marketing Project Conferences to date. They shared best practices, tales of success, and practical takeaways about connecting with the communities that empower our art. Thousands of tweets captured the energy and learning resonating at #nampc.

Hotel Information

The Hilton Austin is currently sold out for the night of Thursday, November 10. If you planned on arriving that day, we recommend you make a reservation at the hotel for the remaining dates of the Conference then email us your confirmation along with your need for a room on the November 10 to events@artsusa.org. Americans for the Arts staff will work with the hotel to try to get you a November 10 reservation and will reach out to you as soon as possible with an update!

The National Arts Marketing Project Conference would not be possible without the commitment, wisdom, and encouragement of our local host, the City of Austin Economic Development Department, as well as our tireless Conference Committee.The Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin’s Economic Development Department provides leadership and management for the City’s cultural arts programs and for the economic development of arts and cultural industries.

Once you land at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), you’ve got a short trip to Hilton Austin Hotel, the NAMP conference headquarters. A variety of transportation options are available at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport as there is no complimentary shuttle to the Hilton Austin Hotel. Please Note:  If you notice a Hilton Austin shuttle at the airport, this is NOT for the conference headquarters.
