Using Your Art to Make A Splash in the Digital Space

  • Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 4:15pm to 5:30pm
    | #NAMPC

Engagement with audiences in the digital sphere requires competing daily with over 5,000+ other brand messages. But you've got a secret weapon: your art! As more organizations make investments in content creation and digital dissemination (which is to say, making more art to promote your art), it's important not to forget both the creative impulse behind that work, and the ultimate goal of revenue. In this session, learn how to use the art you have in creative ways to amplify and promote your product in the social space, and explore the idea that the social space can be part of your organization's canvas too--and not just as a way of giving it all away. Social is a doorway to new engagement platforms, new audiences, and new revenue streams with long term organizational value if used, thought about, properly. Let's explore what that means!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn the technical aspects of how to launch creative digital engagement, including hosting, equipment, software, and publication, and think about how that effort does and doesn't align with creative assets you already have at your disposal.

  2. Hear first-hand stories and tips for leaning into the creative aspects of the social space without breaking your back doing a bunch of extra work.

  3. Deepen your understanding about how digital products ranging from podcasts to image streams can eventually become monetized--or at the very least can become measurable drivers of other earned revenue.
